take me to the sky

Wednesday, March 12, 2008 gentle reminders

I've done everything I need to do during holidays. On a much smaller scale that I would've liked and would normally have done it, but did all that I need to consider holidays holidays anyway.

I went to catch a movie, bummed around and watched tv with my DAD (even if it was BBC), andd went over to rach's last night, and we just talked rubbish and watched grey's. IT WAS SO LITTLE, but had fun anyway.

Only thing missing from my holidays are FLIGHTS. I was going to write some long whiny post about me not getting flights and all, but I realised how childish and selfish i was being.

Hmmm, went for congress today and honestly I was expecting it to be a total waste of my day and stuff like that, but when your expectations are disastrously LOW, there is a chance that one might actually get pleasantly surprised.

hee, met my da ge cookie at congress. and they ALL call me noob. how NICE. I have such NICE seniors.

Anyway, just got home from cheryl's cause went over to do econs after congress. :D OKAY, granted, we got quite a pathetic amount of work done, but i'm quite glad? okay, is that legitimate? yeah, and there's a quote on her wall.

thought it was quite interesting:

to laugh often and much,

to win the respect of intelligent people

and the affection of children,

to earn the appreciation of honest critics

and to endure the betrayal of false friends,

to appreciate beauty,

to find the best in others,

to leave the world abit better,

whether by a healthy child,

a garden patch...

to know even one life has breathed easier

because you have lived.

This is to have succeeded!
