I've wondered if parents ever ever at all realise that their children are different people from them, and I've also wondered about whether or not every parent across the globe EXPECTS their children to be a certain person. I used to say I don't wanna get married cause I don't believe in love, don't believe in eternity, and perhaps most strongly, cause I don't want to end up living lives like my parents'. My sister pointed out something very valid to me yesterday, I'm depriving myself of the chance to get married cause of one or two particular people, then I'm just proving my parents right, that I won't be able to manage what they couldn't, but I know for a fact that I can. I think I've seen enough happy married couples to realise that not all marraiges are like those that I used to see so often, and that there can be many many joys, and that there are parents who learn to accept their quiet, loud, tall, short, fat, thin children. I'm not saying that I'm all for marrying now, I still think I am a highly incompetent person who wouldn't be able to manage, but now, the issue's me and not all that's going on, cause I realised that you don't stop living just cause you realised you might die. That's just stupid. (: As for old people who constantly think that the entire world has to change for them, maybe it's cause you're so used to be given power, such that they end up blaming the whole world for things, but ever since the decision to transfer, i decided that every every cloud does have a silver lining. It's really just a matter of looking for it, and admitting it's there. Seriously, it'll always be my fault, you are never in the wrong, but what the heck, what's the point of going against you this way? I shall be a good girl and eventually I'll be able to either go overseas or go to africa. Either way, (: . on a separate (not really) note, was my mum's birthday two days ago, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY! you are our hero and why all of us even BOTHER. (: Okay, I need to do some math after all that anger managing yesterday. :D And we're celebrating Rad's birthday today.
A big big thanks to these people (: layout by: hilary header by: sealedcards
