I really should be starting to get some work done, but just visited my brother's blog and now I realised that I'm starting to lose myself in all this work already.

I'm very proud of myself for becoming increasingly tolerant, as I notice that I've learnt to look on the bright side of many many things and people largely due to the influence of the people around me. But I think that what I've always feared is coming true in some sense, I'm lowering standards, which makes me a happier person, but I just feel disappointed in myself when I step back and look at what I've been doing.

Like since when did I think doing what we did was accepteable? I mean to some, in fact probably to most, I probably seem like I'm making a mountain out of a molehill, but it's just argh. I told myself that I never wanna just settle, that I can't have that sort of an attitude, but this is precisely what's happening.

And things at home isn't going particularly fantastic either, with all that crap going on, doesn't help that grace has o levels, and as much as I know she'll willingly listen to me even if it means less time for her to study, it's just not right to be bothering her with my little problems now. ):

But it's becoming increasingly difficult, everything. I think a good long hard cry is in order.
