7:27 pm You know, an incident over the dinner table just got me thinking. Cause my dad just ordered my brother to put some pepper in the soup. Nothing unusual there, so my brother did as instructed, but supposedly the pepper was not "spread out", so daddy was like, "AIYOH, not like that lah." Then mum just commented jokingly, "See everything also must teach them to do your way." And my dad just got damn pissed off, and was like "He's my son, if I don't..." Then he stopped.

And that left me thinking, why do people have kids? To fulfill their evolutionary responsibility? Are children a long term investment so that someone will give you money when you're old and dying? I get the impression that I'm (and my siblings) here to fulfill my father's unfulfilled dreams and wishes, that he wants all of us to be mini clones of him. Part of the reason I don't want kids is cause I don't want subconciously do what my dad is doing. I'm sure no parent means to force his or her child to do things that he or she wants the kid to do, but sometimes it just happens.

Ah well, tired, and want to sleep. Stupid online physics assignment. argh.

I didn't sleep in the end. Hahaha, on a lighter note, I went for a jog in the park just now. :D I'm starting to like running, like just keep going. I think running in the park is good, cause like initially I paced myself with the stranger, then when I lost him somewhere, I just kept going, and then after 2.5km, I just started walking. I walked for like a minute, then this guy with really nice legs ran past, and I was kinda buay song that he overtook me, so I started running again, until I finished the whole park. :D Hahaha, I think it's not very far, like maybe 3.3km? But it's a start, I think I shall go running more often, it's good for me. (: And it's a good time to think too.
