hmm, went to help pat with her amath today. it was quite fun. although it's quite appaling that i couldn't do some of those questions. -.- bam! hhaha. but at least i've recalled how to do composite functions, and inverse, and all that. screwy. bad bad bad memory. hmm, the next part of this post would just be like reflection so just skip it if you're not interested. but uhm, was kind of packing my room, but like josae says that often just means moving stuff around and found the invest program booklet. invest was 19th of january this year. it didn't seem like that long ago, but i guess it has been. and you know, just looking at that thin booklet can send me into one of my why did i ever leave moods all over again. it's just that this time, i was just wondering what things would've been like if i hadn't left. i'll probably have continued to be this slacker who cares nothing about her studies. so maybe it's a good thing that i came? i definitely realised how lucky i was. scgs might not have been perfect, wait, it was not perfect, but i think that's about as close to a perfect education as it got. i realised that i took essentially everything for granted. but i think that by forcing myself into the outside world, i've become a person who has seen more? i guess i'd be able to relate better to a larger group of people. i don't know really. i'm still amazed at how i've managed to survive a year and a half in a school that puts absolutely zero priority on cca, and i wonder what it's doing to me, but really, if you really think about what cca does for you, it's hard to put it down, but cheryl teo said something today that makes alot of sense: cca is fulfilling. i'm sure not everyone agrees with her, me and that statement, but i think that that is finally why i can explain my rage for the amount of attention cca gets. should that door open for me, would it be terribly irresponsible of me to just walk out like that? would that be in line with my principles? with everything that they've taught me? i honestly have no idea, and i don't think i ever would know whether or not the decisions i made were the right ones, but i heard something on the radio that day and it went something like, often in life, we wait for the perfect moment, the perfect opportunity, the perfect person, and we end up waiting forever and not deciding, but by not deciding, you've already made a decision. so really, i think i've learnt that sometimes, it just might be better to follow this young heart of mine and just do what makes me happy. afterall, if i'm not wreckless at age 16, when will i be? 60? noway.
A big big thanks to these people (: layout by: hilary header by: sealedcards
