hmm, yesterday went for my sister's violin recital thing, and you know i mean compared to other schools' it's not fantastic, but i think but the school's standard, it's like really good. but then again, the pro people were from ny and rg. aha, and coincidentally, the proest person there was this girl called joelynn, and is an rg bballer, who is close to the crazy funny cheryl teo. haha. and honestly, it was good to be striking up a conversation with people who speak on the same wave length again. and you know my sis and i concluded that mr ng is actually i teacher who probably really cares about his students, but totally can't show it. and it's sad. :)) we say that because he gave all the girls in my class precious moments keychains/badges which i estimate to cost 5 bucks plus each and guys some bookmark from kino. i mean not many teachers will bother. hmm, but then again, not many teachers send me out of class, and call my mother even when i fail, not to mention when i just pass. ahah. and got to talk to mummy on the phone this morning, it felt good. :) and then i dedicated my whole of today to slacking, other than doing sets questions from the mainstream amath textbook, but that really doesn't really count as work done. anyway, read sth funny on john's blog, and josiah's blog is damn funny also, but yeah check this out: The Salary Theroem "Engineers and scientists can never earn as much as business executives and sales people." This theorem can now be supported by a mathematical equation based on the following two postulates: 1. Knowledge is Power. 2. Time is Money. As every engineer knows: Power = Work / Time Given that: Knowledge = Power and Time = Money, Then by substitution: Knowledge = Work / Money. Solving for Money, we have: Money = Work / Knowledge. Thus, as Knowledge approaches zero, Money approaches infinity, regardless of the amount of Work done. kinda true actually? so why the hell am i studying so hard? wait, i'm not studying so hard. HAHA. :) and teachers should seriously learn to use espace properlyyyyy. GAWD. i thought they were teachers. anyway, just random thoughts, i think that if anything, nus high has taught me how to live with shit. :) and importance of familyy. and i won't be going back to scgs so often anymore, after miss heng leaves, i think i might finally be able to end the scgs chapter of my life, although i STILL WANT THE CHANCE TO BE A RAFFLESIAN. but i think that now that i've given up badminton and essentially everything you need to be deemed normal in mainstream, i don't know...
A big big thanks to these people (: layout by: hilary header by: sealedcards
