and then, is it their tradition and custom to adopt siblings and everyone else becomes jie, or mei or di or sth. aiyoh, sorry ah, but i think that being siblings and being very close friends still very very different. and although we're always one big scgs family, do i call rhea mei or jie or whatever. so GROSS. can't imagine man. and then the label seems really important. sorry if i offend anyone at all, but maybe i'm just not used to it. but really, replationships within the family has alot more responsibility involved as compared to very close friendships. it bends you alot more, and there's obligation. i don't really think that in all the jie and mei and everything there's all that. but then again, it's just differeing opinions i guess. although i still can't help but snicker a little when i hear that so often.
