i am never going to communicate with my father truthfully ever again. i just will not and cannot happen. okay, i've been complaining throughout the year about school, but i do so in scgs as well, but hmm, suddenly when i do it about nus high, i'm looking at the school THROUGH TINTED GLASSES. anyway, so yesterday was complaining that the badminton tournament was very badly organised. i mean, fuck, it really was. nobody knew what was going on. honestly, i think it's only fair that i get to whine to my sister about it in front of him. SOMEBODY, TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT. then today, i was just telling them about this classmate i have, who's academically an A+ student but stutters during viva. but see, the culture of the school is such, just ace your fucking exams and you've got things going for yourself. well, if he's so damn bloody wise, he would've realised that the world is not like that. not the way i see it at least, correct me if i'm wrong. ok, so apparently, at every dinner table (when he isn't at so many dinners), he has to listen to me complain. and fuck, who's the bias one here. complaining about scgs, ri, rgs is fine, but nus high NO. u know, now it's not really a thing i have against the damn school, but the way he insists that he didn't fucking force me to this place. you know i've actually been telling people that i'm not disappointed by the school. but does he know? NO. cause he never bothers to find out stuff before acting like my mind bloody thinks like his. okay, so scold scold scold scold. said that in scgs, i nearly failed english and lit, so apparently like dunno, not good at it, (although my science also got 52/100, maths get 9/25). so i thought of a reason to explain that as in objectively. okay, see, since we were young, my dad takes our science books and stuff like that to give us like mini lessons at home. and scolds us when we dunno stuff cause we apparently disappoint him when we don't read the books he buys. okay our fault. fine, anything. point is, he does that for science, and maths once in awhile, but fuck, he scolds my brother for reading storybooks. i mean, naturally our math and science will be substantially better than our english and whatever right. i'm not saying it's his fault that i'm bad in english and lit, but i'm just saying that, just cause he wasn't good at it, and didn't drill us in it, doesn't mean that we will never want to do it. apparently, the way I PUT IT ACROSS, seemes as though i was blaming him. so MY FAULT. okay. then next, oh yah, not good in literature and english, so must ACCEPT REALITY AND FACTS, and go to a place that will be TO BE ADVANTAGE. HE JUST TOTALLY BROKE MY TRAIL OF THOUGHT. SO I SHALL JUST TALK ABOUT THE REALLY BAD PARTS. "I TRY TALKING TO YOU ON EQUAL GROUNDS." then i say something and his next line is: IS THAT HOW YOU TALK TO YOUR FATHER. "I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S BAD ABOUT SCGS, IT IS BAD BECAUSE: ... ..." "YOU ARE MIXING WITH THE PEOPLE WITH TOO GOOD A LIFE, TOO MUCH TIME TO THINK." WHICH PARENT, TELLS A FIFTEEN YEAR OLD TO ACCEPT LIMITATIONS??? I WILL FUCKING TELL MY CHILD IF I EVER HAVE ONE, TO STRETCH HIS LIMITS. PUSH. PUSH. PUSH. AND NO WAY YOU GONNA FUCKING ACCEPT A LIMIT. BASICALLY, EFF YOU, TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE. isn't it sad that i can be here, screaming this out to the whole world, but yet, i do not want to say a word to my own father. oh well. he dug this valley between us, it might well become a canyon.
A big big thanks to these people (: layout by: hilary header by: sealedcards
